SAFE liposuction is an abbreviation for Separation, Aspiration of Fats and Equalization – SAFE. This procedure uses power assisted liposuction technology combined with tumescent liposuction technique to maximize outcome and minimize tissue damage cause by heat energy emitting instruments or machines like Laser, VASER and Ultasound Liposuction.

The same as liposuction or liposculptuting procedures, however in SAFE liposuction, power assisted lipectomy technology is used or applied to separate the fats before aspiration.

Some surgeons and patients claim that there is less bruising and significantly less pain after SAFE liposuction.

After the procedure, patients will have pressure dressing or garment at the treated area to help control the swelling. Patients are advised that there will be swelling, tightness, minimal pain or discomfort and numbness. However, these conditions are transient and resolve spontaneously during the next several weeks.
